Obama Presidency: a Better Administration on Jobless Claims?

The stock markets are constantly watching what happens with the initial jobless claims.

Tomorrow, a new series of data will be published.

However, the question is whether the Obama Administration is doing better, worse or the same as previous administrations, and so, to check whether he is leading a Government that helps the poor.

Here is a graph showing what is happening compared with another major US economic crisis.

They seem pretty similar, don’t they?

But one is much better in reducing the initial claims fast in the first 70 weeks (16 months)

Which one do you thing is President’s Obama Administration, Series 1 or Series 2 of the graph?

And which one was the other President?
